Basingstoke-based Paul Wallace joined the Auditel Cost Management Franchise last month. His previous career was with GE Capital Fleet Services, where he was the Corporate Development Manager. While there, Paul also had a Business Development role securing new £5M-£30M+ corporate sector funded/fleet management contracts.
Asked why he chose Auditel, Paul recalls: “Quite simply, it's a fantastic opportunity to develop a really significant business within the Auditel network. I can use my sector knowledge and the skills that I have developed in corporate Britain, to joint venture with like-minded colleagues. I was also most impressed with the quality of the other franchisees during the due diligence period.”
Paul appreciated the training very much - “Excellent, thought provoking! Having worked for large corporates such as GE and Lloyds TSB, I've been fortunate to have had some great training. Auditel certainly matches the best I've seen. I guess what stood out for me was the opportunity to develop a clear vision and strategy for my business. I learnt more than I had expected on sales!”
He said that over some 20 years in Leadership/General Manager roles with Lloyds TSB, LeasePlan and GE Capital, he gained detailed knowledge that will be most appropriate in his new career. This includes Commercial Finance, Asset Management and Leasing and a background in large corporates and medium-sized organisations. He concludes: “Now I have the support of the 200-strong Auditel Cost Management network and our wide-ranging procurement category expertise. This will enable me to help companies achieve significant and sustainable cost savings across a wide range of business expenditures and to drive out costs on key business assets.”
Matt Sidwell, Auditel’s Director of Network Development - UK & Ireland, says: “Our franchisees come from many different professions. Our training is tailored to each individual, acknowledging their talents and strengthening areas where there has been less experience. Running your own professional consultancy business and becoming a valued adviser to your clients can be very fulfilling. At the same time, you can enjoy the company of over two-hundred like-minded colleagues. Why not book a place at one of our Free Discovery Seminars ? There is no hard sell, no obligation and nothing to pay, but much to learn about the opportunity. We look forward to meeting you!”
