Musical Bumps, provider of outstanding music classes for
babies and pre-school children, is thrilled to be launching classes
in County Down, Northern Ireland. Classes will be run by
Martina Cunningham who, at just 23 years old, is the youngest ever
franchisee for the company. Music graduate, Martina, says
“I’ve just finished my training, I’m brimming with enthusiasm and I
can’t wait to get started!”
According to What Franchise Magazine, the average age of a new
franchisee is 47 more than twice Martina’s age! Martina joins
a growing trend of young graduates choosing to set up their own
business rather than struggling to find employment - being part of
a franchise is by far the safest way to do this with an established
business model and full initial and on-going training in running a
business.
Martina is a Music Graduate from the University of Ulster
Magee with a passion for singing and all types of music. Her
family owns a farm in County Down and is very musical - she
experienced first-hand the importance of singing and being
introduced to music from a young age.
During the final stages of her degree she knew that she wanted
to share her musical talents with young children - choosing to be
part of Musical Bumps has enabled her to do this within a
supportive framework. Martina says ‘I can’t imagine myself in
any other career. Waking up to have fun and sing and play
every day is the only thing that feels right. I firmly
believe that music education is vital for all children and the
earlier a child is exposed to music, the more they benefit!”
Founder and Director of Musical Bumps, Sarah Marsh Carling
says “Our teachers all come from a musical background and have a
real passion for sharing their love of music with young children
and their families. We are so pleased to have Martina as part
of an excellent team who all work extremely hard to ensure that
they deliver outstanding music classes.”
Musical Bumps classes give babies, toddlers and pre-school
children an early start in music in a relaxed and friendly
environment. Musical Bumps follows the Early Years Foundation
Stage principle of holistic learning through play and this fun and
exciting approach to learning is key to its success.
