If you're approaching the year's end with a desire to take your career into your own hands and finally follow your dreams of profitable self-employment, then the chances are that you've already looked into franchising. If so, head over to the Northern Ireland Franchise Show this November 16th - 17th and prepare to be inspired.
The Details
The show is being held in the Millennium Forum in Derry and is also exhibiting the next day (Saturday 17th) at the Europa Hotel in Belfast. On both days it's open from 10am to 4pm and entry is free. You don't need to book tickets or pre-register to attend - you can just come along on the day. As it's likely to be busy, though, you may want to get there as early as possible to speak to the franchises you're most interested in.
About the Northern Ireland Franchise Show
The 2012 show will be bringing some of the best UK and Irish franchises to Northern Ireland. All of the exhibiting franchises are looking for local investors to become their new regional business partner in Northern Ireland. There are plenty of opportunities across a wide range of sectors and with many different investment levels involved.
You'll find details of both full- and part-time franchises at the show, with investment levels that are usually between 2k and 45k. The main categories include IT and white-collar professions, handyman franchises, mother and family-friendly franchises, business services, retail, sport and leisure, food and drink and part-time or work-from-home. You'll find lots of brands that you recognise and many that operate in niche sectors that you will be able to learn about. Prepare to be surprised by the range of franchises on offer. You might find that you leave with plenty of material to read after the day and research further.
What Else Is on Offer at the Show?
As well as the chance to come and meet franchise owners and find out more about what's on offer, you'll find a cafe area open throughout the day at each venue so you can continue your conversations at leisure whilst enjoying some refreshments. There will also be the chance to win your own franchise consultancy service which is valued at more than 1000.
