From the classic Mickey and Minnie to the more current Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Disney is a magical place for both children and adults alike. Now, students who attend part-time theatre school Razzamataz have the amazing opportunity of taking part in the pre-parade in the Disneyland Park in Paris as well as performing in an exclusive Razzamataz Disney show.
The RazzaMagique event from the 24th to the 27th November 2017 will feature a number of the Razzamataz schools within the network who will come together to produce a gala performance celebrating all things Disney.
Students will mark this special opportunity with a T-shirt and souvenir bag and the holiday includes a three-day Park entrance hopper park pass as well as the opportunity to attend a Character Breakfast to meet some of the famous Disney favorites.
“It is a privilege to work with Disney to be able to offer our students this wonderful opportunity,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “The songs and dances from Disney are real classics so to be able to perform them in such an iconic venue is going to be very special. Disney is all about making magical memories and we know that this will certainly be the case for our students, their families and their school Principals.”
Razzamataz came to national prominence after an appearance on Dragons’ Den in 2007 and Duncan Bannatyne became an investor. All these years on and Razzamataz is still one of the top four classic entrepreneurs from the BBC show. A big part of the success of Razzamataz is constantly working to find new and exciting opportunities for students.
“We have been performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London for a number of years now and we wanted to add another really high profile event that would keep our Principals, their teachers and students excited,” says Denise. “It is important for us to constantly look to new ways of keeping students motivated to stay one step ahead of the competition. A student coming to Razzamataz can now get involved in many different performing opportunities from Disney to the West End as well as annual shows and local events.”
All the Razzamataz schools offer a varied curriculum to create ‘triple threat performers’. During the singing, dancing and acting classes, the children are exposed to a range of genres from street dance and commercial singing through to more traditional West End musical theatre to make them rounded performers. Throughout the classes, the emphasis is on having fun and working as a team to teach valuable life skills that all students will benefit from.
Razzamataz continually work with high profile companies such as The Stage newspaper, Universal Pictures and First Choice to keep awareness about the schools high. If you would like to find out how you can join the franchise network, Razzamataz is actively looking to open further schools across the UK and in particular Aberdeen and Cardiff. The team will be holding regular Discovery Den days, which give people the opportunity to meet the Head Office team and find out more about this franchise opportunity, across the UK.
If you want to find out more about becoming a franchisee of your own part-time Razzamataz Theatre School, make an appointment to come along to one of the regular but informal Discovery Den days in London, Glasgow or Sheffield to find out more about this exciting and flexible business opportunity.
