Leading Pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced franchisee, Gurnek Singh, has opened his fourth store. Gurnek Singh who joined Papa John’s in 2011 runs Rugby, Leamington Spar and Sheffield and has this week officially opened in Banbury, Oxfordshire, located on George Street.
“We are seeing a growing trend for our franchisees to run multiple operations,” confirms Anthony Round, business development manager, Papa John’s. “There are advantages of economies of scale by running more than one outlet and it offers the chance for expansion using a formula franchisees know works well. Once a franchisee becomes confident in managing one store, we can help them apply that knowledge to open multiple outlets if they wish. We are also able to offer some great incentive deals to help ambitious franchisees expand in this way. One of our franchisees successfully runs 14 outlets!”
Gurnek Singh comments: “In a way, owning and running multiple stores is easier than running just one, as you have staff to help you. Of course, you need to manage your team but we all get on really well and as well as creating more jobs, opening more stores means increased sales! The Banbury opening is exciting as the store is in a popular location and we are very much looking forward to serving up some great pizza for the local community!”
Papa John's is one of the largest pizza companies in the world, with more than 4,300 stores worldwide and is rapidly expanding in 34 markets around the globe. Papa John’s, which is renowned for its product quality, has opportunities for potential franchisees throughout the UK including the key locations of the South East, Yorkshire, Manchester, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, North East, Wales & Scotland.
