The British Franchise Association (bfa) has long played an important role in helping potential franchisees to recognise and invest in franchises of the highest quality. Any company that wants to earn bfa accreditation must test itself against their strict and extensive criteria. So, it’s with great pride that we can announce No+Vello has now been accredited as an Associate Member of the bfa.
This achievement acknowledges that No+Vello have met all the bfa’s criteria, covering: the structure of the business; the terms of contract between franchisor and franchisee; the business model and its success as a franchise. In fact, due to the size of the worldwide No+Vello network, the business went straight in at Associate Member level.
Far from a tick box exercise, being an Associate Member demonstrates an ongoing commitment to a strict code of ethics and system sustainability. From the recruiting and selecting of franchisees to working with them to develop a their own profitable businesses – the code of ethics reinforces that, as a franchise, No+Vello offers the support, respect and encouragement that centre owners need to succeed.
And it’s not just about where No+Vello is as a business today. It’s about where it’s going too. The bfa accreditation process has been used by No+Vello to further improve its franchise system. In particular, the process has helped No+Vello to refine its Franchise Agreement – offering a more defined relationship between head office and the centre owners.
Matt Simmonds, No+Vello Managing Director, shares his excitement at joining the bfa family:
“It’s an honour to be recognised by the bfa as an Associate Member. The bfa has some of the world’s best franchises as members. To be included amongst these goes to show that all the hard work we put into developing an effective business model and adapting that to the UK, offering a unique proposition and supporting our owners has paid off.”
