Leading care franchise Kare Plus has held its first franchisee networking event in Birmingham, bringing together its 40 strong nationwide network to share experiences, best-in-class practice and learn more about the latest developments introduced by the franchisor.
Franchisees also had opportunity to welcome newly appointed regional business development manager Paul Stafford and were briefed about forthcoming changes to the care sector by Kare Plus’s Clinical Lead, Kate Willis and Head of Domiciliary Care, Darren Guy.
According to Kare Plus Managing Director Steve Welsh and Franchise Director Tom Roe, the event had been planned for some time and the franchise management team were delighted with its success.
“However good the support, franchisees can sometimes feel isolated, particularly if they worked within a large organisation or close team previously,” Steve says. “As individual business owners operating in geographically widespread territories, franchisees rarely get the chance to mix with others in the network, so we felt that it was important to create this opportunity to enhance communications and foster a strong sense of belonging to a ‘family’ of franchisees – particularly among our newly recruited business owners. Everyone had chance to air concerns, ask questions and offer ideas – the atmosphere was really positive, we had great feedback and we’ll definitely be doing this again!”
