In order to step up the central and field support available to franchisees, Business Doctors has recently appointed four new staff members.
With more than 40 offices working nationwide helping small and medium-sized businesses to achieve the next level of growth in turnover and profitability, Business Doctors has grown exponentially since launching in 2004.
To strengthen the central support of its growing network , the company has now appointed Karen Pennington as Field Support Manager, Nathan Jefferson as Business Development Executive, Rebecca Bamber as Finance Manager and Lauren Banner as Administration and Support Assistant.
Karen Pennington’s role as Field Support Manager will see her providing hands-on guidance, mentoring and action planning to help Business Doctors develop their own business, providing support to SMEs in their local area. Karen has over 20 years’ experience in franchising and will be working closely with the existing support team to provide additional support to the existing estate.
She says: “My role at Business Doctors is to provide Business Doctors with all the support they need to get their own businesses up and running and then staying on track to ensure their long term success. That means meeting regularly with them to review where the business is going, agreeing goals and outcomes and signposting to solutions and other areas of support.”
Nathan Jefferson’s role will focus on developing the Business Doctors network nationally and ensuring the right calibre of people are aware of the Business Doctor opportunity.
He says: “Business Doctors’ success in working with SMEs is entirely dependent on getting the right people in the hot seat in each region. My role will involve targeting senior management people leaving corporate or other business roles looking for new opportunities to use their skills, and introducing them to the successful Business Doctors model. Talented business people are the lifeblood of Business Doctors so I am looking forward to welcoming more people into the fold to help SMEs in territories across the country.”
