Leading infection control company and franchisor,
Bio-Rite, has announced it is expanding into Yorkshire. New
franchisee, Drew Heald and his business partner Darrian Lewis, will
now provide Bio-Rite’s comprehensive decontamination services to
the NHS and care homes in the region.
Drew Heald explains: “I have been in the cleaning industry
for around 15 years and my colleague Darrian has particular
experience working with infection control in the NHS. We
currently run Leeds City Cleaners so joining Bio-Rite as
franchisees is a good fit for us. Immediately we recognised
the high-quality of Bio-Rite’s specialist decontamination equipment
and the importance of the infection control management to our
community.
“Bio-Rite’s franchisee training has been comprehensive and we
already have appointments booked with prospective clients including
doctor’s surgeries, care homes and the NHS. The staff at
Bio-Rite are all committed to helping us build our franchised
business and we are now looking forward to growing our Bio-Rite’s
client base throughout Yorkshire.”
Alan Wright, managing director, Bio-Rite confirms: “Bio-Rite
is one of the few companies in the UK that is able to offer the
range of products and services that are needed to reduce infections
such as MRSA, C.Difficile or Norovirus within healthcare
environments. Our franchisees are trained to deploy the Anios
device which destroys 99.99% of pathogens including infections
spread through the air such as C. Difficile. In addition, we
also offer a mobile service: a fully converted vehicle to enable
mattresses and used care equipment to be decontaminated on-site for
a rapid turnaround, using a specially developed, highly effective
hydrogen peroxide chamber.”
As a group, Bio-Rite has over 40 years’ experience in
decontamination and infection control management. The demand
for Bio-Rite’s services means the company is currently recruiting
franchisees on a nation-wide basis. Bio-Rite is a British
Franchise Association (bfa) Provisional Member and staff and
franchisees are members of the Infection Prevention Society (IPS).
