Award-winning franchisor Right at Home, a global leader in the home care market with over 400 local offices world-wide, is delighted to announce that it has become a full member of the British Franchise Association (bfa).
This announcement comes hot on the heels of the home care franchise expert winning the “Best Emerging Franchisor” award at the 2014 British Franchise Association annual awards.
The bfa is the not-for-profit voice of franchising in the UK. It operates to accredit and promote ethical franchising and therefore differentiate the good franchise opportunities from the not-so-good. For a franchisor to be a member of the bfa, they must pass a strict accreditation process, which looks at all aspects of the franchise operation to make sure it is proven, protected, ethical, sustainable and free of ambiguity and misleading statements.
“We are delighted to announce that Right at Home is now a full member of the British Franchise Association,” says Ken Deary, UK managing director of Right at Home.
“Joining a franchise is one of the biggest decisions an investor will make in their lives, not only in financial terms, but also in terms of time and commitment. Franchising allows people to start an entirely new life, realising new lifestyles and ambitions, but only when done well. Therefore, making the right choice at the very start about which franchise to join is vital
“This is where the bfa comes in and why we are delighted to come on board with them. It is further proof that Right at Home is an excellent, viable and ethical, choice for anyone looking into franchising. By becoming full-members it will hopefully give any prospective investors confidence that we are open and transparent in what we say - if you work hard, are committed, and buy-in fully to what we are trying to achieve, you will be successful.”
Full Members of the bfa are established franchised businesses with a proven trading and franchising record. They are prepared to have their reputation examined by the bfa, and have an established network of franchisees.
