Auditel, the UK and Ireland's premier cost-management franchise, has beaten off strong European competition to win the 2012 British Franchise Association's gold award for its franchisee support. The award was sponsored by HSBC and Auditel was announced as the winner from a highly competitive group of finalists, including Maid2Clean, O2, Jasper's and Countrywide Signs. The brand's success comes hot on the heels of its previous shortlisted nominations within the Best Franchisee Support category and the overall Franchisor of the Year award for 2012.
Chris Allison, the Managing Director of Auditel, expressed his delight at receiving the award and seeing Auditel recognised within the franchise community. He extended his thanks to the network development team based at Auditel's head office and the company's group of forty mentors and consultant trainers. He explained that the two teams worked together proactively to support and train the franchise network of more than 200 cost-management consultants. Auditel's Communications, Media & Marketing team were also recognised as being key elements in the business's success for their work in building up the brand.
Chris said that Auditel's customers could now be even more confident that they were receiving a top-class service from Auditel consultants, who were now better equipped, prepared and supported than ever.
HSBC's Head of Franchising and BFA judge, Cathryn Hayes, wrote a letter of congratulations to Chris and the Auditel team, explaining that competition for the 2012 awards had been extremely tough, with plenty of strong contenders on the shortlist. She said that the Auditel team should be very proud of their success and achievement. They beat off stiff competition to win the prestigious award and be recognised within their industry as best-practice leaders for franchising.
The team will be celebrating their success at a lavish gala dinner this October in Birmingham, where the finalists will be recognised and the winners in each category announced. The national awards are sponsored by both HSBC and the Express Newspaper Group and they seek to highlight and recognise the efforts, achievements and business stories of the UK's top franchise businesses.
The gold award winner will receive £5000 in prize money, together with a commemorative trophy plaque and their 'BFA / HSBC Franchisee of 2012' title. The silver and bronze award category winners will each receive £3,000 and £2,000 respectively, also courtesy of sponsor HSBC and five regional winners will win £500 each.
