Chris says. Castle Combe is a gentle warm-up on their motor racing circuit. It involves a 10km run, a 39km bike ride, followed by another run of 5km. The total distance covered is 54km or 33.75 miles. The Blaenafon Triathlon is rated by '220 Triathlon' magazine as one of "The UK's Toughest Triathlons" and also the UK's longest-running triathlon event now in its 27th year. Chris reveals: Steep hills and a partially off-road run make this tougher than some Ironmans, according to the Welsh Triathlon Office Coordinator. This race includes a 0.8km swim, a 44.8km bike ride followed by an 11.2km run. A total of 56.8km or 35.5 miles.
Lastly, Chris says he will take part in the Liverpool Triathlon. This is the UK's newest major triathlon swim, bike and run, while taking in Liverpool's World Heritage Sites, including the Liver Building, Albert Dock, and the brand new Liverpool Echo Arena. The swim takes place in Queen's and Wapping Dock. The race consists of a 1.5km swim, a 40km bike ride, and then a 10km run totalling 51.5km or 32.19 miles.
Chris does confirm that anyone interested in looking at the Auditel franchise opportunity should not be too worried about having to take part in this kind of feat! Although he did feel a bit aggrieved when a fellow-franchisee remarked have you got something a bit more challenging planned for next year?
